Marbella, is one of the Costa del Sol's prime resort towns and is generally regarded as Spain’s St Tropez. But this Andalusian resort has much on offer that you won’t find on the French Riviera. Start at the tourist office at the lovely 16th-century town hall fronting the Orange Square or La Plaza de los Naranjos. Here you also find specialty shops, art galleries, bars and bistros that are a hive of activity, day and night. Surrounding narrow streets have excellent restaurants and cafes where you can try the local tapas. Puerto Banús is an superb marina stocked with amazing pleasure vessels plus fashion boutiques and cafes, a casino, shopping centre, marine observatory and cinema complex. The nightlife here is legendary. Golfers have the choice of ten or more magnificent courses, many of which are set between the mountains and the sea. And at La Alameda park you can ride a horse-drawn carriage while at Avenida del Mar, be sure to stroll the seashore. Do you have a holiday villa in Marbella?
