Cayman Islands Holiday Guide
This British Overseas Territory, consists of three islands: Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. Grand Cayman’s top attractions are its beaches such as Rum Beach, Sandy Point, and the resort haven of Seven Mile Beach. From here you can snorkel several of the reefs around the island, and explore the old shipwrecks near East End, and the Russian warship at Cayman Brac. Rent a holiday villa on the Cayman Islands and you can also snorkel with the southern stingray at Stingray City, and enjoy an underwater, hour-long reef-viewing trip in the Atlantis Submarine.
On the northern side of Grand Cayman, linking Frank Sound to Old Man Bay, is the Mastic Trail, a walk through one of the Caribbean's last remaining rainforests. Nearby, the 65-acre Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park has a collection of rare native flora and fauna. The big event on the island is the annual Pirates Week Festival in November, with music, street dancing, sports events and fireworks displays, and a mock pirate invasion of George Town Harbour.
